How It Works
The MVP smart valve positioner receives a standard 4~20mA valve position command signal from the distributed control system. The signal goes through A/D conversion to generate the target valve setpoint. Meanwhile, an integrated position sensor captures the actual valve position feedback.
Built-in control software calculates the deviation between setpoint and feedback, then drives the pneumatic actuator to adjust the valve until the desired valve travel is reached, forming a closed-loop control cycle.
The MVP smart valve positioner receives a 4–20mA valve position signal from the control system and obtains the valve position setpoint via A/D conversion. Meanwhile, it acquires the actual valve position feedback signal through a position sensor.Both signals are calculated and processed by the control software to control the movement of the pneumatic actuator and drive the valve position to reach the set value.
